The Alpine Building Approach
Thoughtful preparation. Fewer decisions left to the site.
Bring architecture, structure, building systems, and selections together before work begins. Resolve the important connections on paper, with the appropriate design professionals.
Evaluate panelized framing and other prepared components where they suit the home. Coordinate fabrication, transport, and installation before committing to a method.
Identify long-lead selections and purchasing decisions early. Confirm availability, delivery timing, and storage needs against the construction sequence.
Plan access, deliveries, temporary protection, and enclosure timing around the season. Cold-weather work and its requirements belong in the project plan from the beginning.
Construction methods and schedules are established for the actual design, site, approvals, and project team.

The Story Behind Alpine
Alpine Mountain Homes grew from Leonardo’s lifelong love of skiing and the mountains—and 25 years in residential and commercial construction.
The search for his own Colorado home revealed long waits, difficult budgets, and a need for clearer communication. That experience shaped the company he set out to build.
His background also includes Texas real estate experience and licensure as a Colorado real estate broker.

Questions Before You Build
A few answers before we talk about your home.
We coordinate design, site planning, budgeting, and construction around one shared plan, with clear decisions at each stage.
We develop the budget around the design, site conditions, specifications, and selected options. Estimates identify assumptions, allowances, and remaining uncertainties. Pricing is refined as those details and supplier commitments are confirmed.
Some work can continue through winter when access, materials, protection, and construction methods allow it. We plan the sequence and cold-weather requirements for the property, with weather and site conditions guiding what can proceed.
The schedule depends on design completion, approvals, site work, material lead times, trade availability, inspections, and weather. We establish a project-specific sequence and update it as decisions and conditions change.
We can plan updates, reviews, and selections around your location and availability. Reporting and technology arrangements are agreed for each project; the portal and camera experience shown on this site are in development.
